Being a minister of middle machine-building, Efim Pavloviche had done a lot for Ust-Kamenogorsk development. |

With His assistance in Ust-Kamenogorsk Sport Palace, Central Culture House, Irtysh Embankment and Red Eagles Embankment, six schools, kindergartens, colleges, Monument to the Dead Warriors at the fronts of World War II were constructed. |

KOROTINA Mariya Ivanovna, born in 1927, was a chief surgeon of the city, deputy head physician of emergency hospital. Mariya Ivanovna devoted herself to the public health development in Ust-Kamenogorsk saving a hundreds of citizens.
