The newspaper “Rudny Altai”

It has been published from 1918 in Ust-Kamenogorsk. At different times had the following titles “Golos Altaya”, “Izvestiya”, “Sovetskaya vlast”, “Smichka”, “Krestyansky trud”, “Priirtyshsky kommunar”, “Bolshevik Altaya”, “Znamya kommunizma”. It has been published under the title “Rudny Altay” from May of 1963. In publication of the newspaper participated such well-known writers as P.P. Bazhov and N.I. Anov (Ivanov) – the first editors of Bolshevik’s that time newspaper.

At present regional newspaper “Rudny Altai” is one of the circulated information newspapers of the region, the founder of it is the Akim of East-Kazakhstan region. It is published 3 times a week, on 8-24 lists of A3 format in black and white. It is distributed among cities and rayons of East-Kazakhstan region by subscription and at retail, electronic subscription is possible. It has its own up-to-date printing base…

The supplements to the regional newspaper, the project “The Home of Friendship” combined with the Assembly Minor of East-Kazakhstan Nations are published in the printing-house of “Rudny Altai”, “Sauletai” – for children, tens of other regional publications, books are published, brochures, blank production.

“Rudny Altai” is considered to be a training-school of journalistic professionalism. Many people have become famous in the region, in the Republic and abroad owing to this very regional newspaper.

The largest non-government social and political newspaper of East-Kazakhstan.
Average annual circulation – 14000 copies.
Frequency of publication – every week, on Fridays. Format – A3. Volume – 32 pages

Politically non-engaged. Independent of the authority, industrial and finance groups. It is commercially successful project. In the centre of activity there is an intense interest of readers in published materials.

In the newspaper are first of all published the city and the regional news, conflicts power structures and society, criminal events, articles of provincial morals and manners.

In spite of the regional orientation, it is published the most important and interesting news of the Republic. As well as entertaining and useful information.
