Domestic policy
National-culture centers
Ethno-politic situation in our city can be characterized as positive. The main activities of national-culture centers directed on strengthening unity, international piece and harmony, development of national cultures, languages and traditions of ethnic diasporas that live in the city. Friendship house present interests of 105 ethnos living in the oblast, including 26 living in the city among them Russian – 74.3%, Kazakh – 19.4% and others – 6.3%.
There are 15 national-culture centers and 4 social unions acting by Friendship house.
